Schade Fires 2 Under 69 to Lead Sigurdson Financial Fall & Assistant's Championship

Devon Schade of Larters at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club fired a 2 under 69 in round one of the Sigurdson Financial Fall & Assistant's Championship being held at the Elmhurst Golf & Country Club.  He leads the field in both divisions playing in the combined field.  Jason Ludke of Pine Ridge Golf Club is one back in the Fall Championship Division after a 1 under 70 and host course Head Professional, Matt Lorenz rounds out the top three with an even par 72.

In the Assistant's Division, Jonathan Wiegner of Niakwa Country Club sits in second place, five strokes back of Schade while Ben Dalke, also of Niakwa, sits in third after a first round 75.

Twenty four PGA of Manitoba members are competing in the combined event with placings from the Fall Championship division counting towards the Player of the Year points.  Round 2 will tee off at 8:00 am tomorrow with the leaders hitting the course at 9:03.
