Professional Recognition Program
The PGA of Manitoba Professional Recognition Program (PRP) recognizes individual PGA Members who make a significant contribution to our Association and the overall well-being of fellow members. This point-driven program is based on being active within our industry through various forms of Participation, Education, Sport Development, Contribution, Tournament Participation, Promoting & Supporting, Service & Volunteerism.
Through this initiative, the PGA of Manitoba will acknowledge the Association's Top Golf Professionals each year, awarding the designation to those finishing among the first 10 positions on the PRP Leader Board.
To recognize the Top Professionals, our partners at TaylorMade Canada will contribute a bonus incentive to the Top point-earners of the program.
To be recognized, you must earn points in at least four of the seven categories.
Those categories are:
- Participation
- Continuing Education
- PGA Sport Development Programs
- Contribution
- Tournaments
- Promoting & Supporting
- Service & Volunteerism
Members can begin accumulating points for the 2024 Professional Recognition Program as of October 30, 2023. Each year's program will begin as soon as the previous year wraps up, meaning you never stop earning points!
