Matt Peterson

Matt Peterson is a dedicated professional in the golf industry with a passion that ignited in 2015. Starting as an assistant at Gatineau Golf Club, he swiftly moved to the OAC for a year teaching golf, before finding his stride at Hylands Golf Course. At Hylands, he grew into the role of an associate golf professional, demonstrating exceptional skills and commitment from 2017 to 2021.

Matt Peterson is currently serving as Head Golf Professional at Rivermead Golf Club, having joined in January 2025. Before this role, he spent two years at Camelot Golf Club, where he honed his skills and developed a reputation for excellence in the golfing community. With 10 years of experience in the industry, Matt’s dedication to the sport has earned him numerous accolades.

His journey began with a recognition as Apprentice of the Year in 2018, followed by Assistant of the Year in 2020. In 2023, Matt’s commitment to both his personal growth and the advancement of the sport was honored with the prestigious Associate of the Year award.

Through these achievements, Matt has consistently demonstrated his unwavering passion for golf, while continuously striving to elevate his craft and contribute to the golfing community.
